Chinese Car Fleet Crossed Afghanistan For The First Time. Landwind Team Created New Record

On November 4th, the Chinese expedition team experienced the ‘Route of Hsuan-Tzang’ again and became the first Chinese motor team which entered Afghanistan through continental port.One of the team members---a famous entrepreneur Wang Shi and the spokesperson of Landwing motor,is the first Chinese who has entered Afghanistan by driving Chinese automobile,passing the Afghanistan border firstly in a Landwing car.

The border port between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan is an important continental port with significant military meaning. Because this is the only path for the United Nations’ aid and military supplies to get into Afghanistan. In the history, there has never been any Chinese team getting through this port,not even any Chinese citizens, according to the record of the transit port. Undoubtedly,this travel has composed a new history of Chinese motor team crossing Afghanistan and the Central Asia Continent.

The current situation in Afghanistan is intense,but it is just a test for the team members who are following the ‘route of Hsuan-Tzang’.All of the members hold the belief of ‘cheer for perseverance’.It is said that only three kinds of people can get across the Afghan border:the personnel of the United Nations aid organizations, the military force and permitted media staff.Fortunately,the president of Sino-Uzbekistan Friendship Association helped all the team members get the journalist visas,by which the Landwand car fleet,as well as the six Landwind motors got through the security inspection with the help of the custom officers.After half and one hours,all of the team members finished the inspection and continued to drive to ‘the friendship bridge’, which is located in the demarcation point of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

The friendship bridge is only one kilometer long, with two iron doors standing in the middle of the bridge,one of which represents Uzbekistan and the other Afghanistan. When the team drove through the two doors and got into Uzbekistan from Afghanistan,they all hailed the success because this meant the Chinese car fleet---Landwing car fleet,was the first team which had entered Afghanistan from continental port successfully.All of the members had witnessed the meaningful and historical moment.

However,this is just a beginning.With the dream of countless people, Landwind car fleet will accomplish more ‘impossible things’ and more ‘first times’ along the westbound route of Hsuan-Tzang.
